Lisa Stiles Nance

Miami-based portrait artist, Lisa Stiles Nance, has been  drawing, painting, and creating all forms of art since she was a girl growing up in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Her art education includes pursuing an AFA at Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in Hudson, NC, where she studied under Thomas Thielman and Jean Cauthen; portrait painting lessons with Frances Hairfield in Morganton, NC; as well as a variety of online courses, including several through Sketchbook Skool with Danny Gregory and other noted illustrators and painters.

She is the founder of the Miami Urban Sketchers.

Her paintings show the influence of some of her favorite painters, including Daniel Greene, whose palette she uses to create her portraits.

She is member of the Portrait Society of America.
